Texas has state holiday on August 27 of every year. The Lyndon Baines Johnson is a president of America during 1963 to 1969. He passes the Voting Rights Act, which allows the African Americans to vote in election. He outlawed all forms of segregation through the Civil Rights Act. He is well known for intensified the American troop’s involvement in Vietnam War. He died in his cattle farm on 1973. Later his birthday was celebrated as Lyndon Baines Johnson Day that is on August 17th. It is a holiday for particular state employees in Texas and the state offices are opened with sufficient staff members.
